This 8-week online yin yoga series is designed to help you awaken that warrior within yourself. Through yin yoga, meditation, self-inquiry, and intuitive practices, you will learn how to move from inner clarity to authentic action—so you can meet life with strength, purpose, and deep trust in your soul’s direction.

About This Yin Yoga Series:

 

 

Through the 8 Week Journey

  • You will develop an intuitive relationship with your Liver and Gallbladder & their corresponding meridians (the channels of vision and courageous action) — learning to recognize when they are stagnant, depleted, or in excess, and how to restore their natural flow.

  • You will learn to work with anger as information rather than an enemy — transforming Wood's shadow emotion into purposeful direction, clear boundaries, and the fierce compassion that is the spiritual warrior's strength. 

  • You will leave with a more embodied sense of your own soul's direction — and a practice for returning to it, season after season, whenever life asks you to become more fully yourself. 

By the end, you will experience:

  • a calmer, more regulated nervous system
  •  increased clarity and direction
  •  a healthier relationship with anger and emotional energy
  •   stronger boundaries and self-trust
  •  the courage to act from alignment rather than fear

And...you will not just understand these teachings, you will embody them! 

Course Structure

 

8 Weeks Total | 6 Live Classes + 2  Pre-Recorded Classes 

Live Classes Held on Zoom : Thursdays 7:00–8:15 PM PT

 Each 75 minute live class contains

  • Yin yoga — long-held postures targeting the Liver and Gallbladder meridians
  • Other Chinese Medicine Practices Including: 
    • Qigong -  short Wood element movement practices to wake up and move stagnant qi. 
    • Acupressure — guided self-application of key points, rooted in each session's theme
  • Guided meditation — practices drawn from somatic, contemplative, and Taoist traditions
  • Self-inquiry — reflection prompts to carry the inner work into your week

Week 1 — April 30 - The Warrior Takes Root 

Understand the principles of wood energy through the archetype of the spiritual warrior. In the body, move from inertia & overwhelm to grounded presence so you can work with the rising energy rather than struggling against it.  


Week 2 — May 7 (Pre-Recorded) - Yoga & Astrology Integration

Energetics of May - Understand the larger energetic forces shaping your inner and outer world—formulate intentions & affirmations for the Taurus New Moon.
 

Week 3 — May 14 - The Liver's Vision - Seeing Clearly Beyond Conditioning, Toward Soul Purpose

Balancing the Liver to clarify direction, purpose & inner knowing. Move beyond fear and conditioning to see & feel your inner truth.
Week 4 — May 21 - The Gallbladder's Courage - Decisive Action, Boundaries, and the Warrior's Sacred No. Developing boundaries from love - learn to say no, protect your energy, and stay open-hearted at the same time.The ultimate act of courage, the willingness to meet one's shadow with awareness and compassion. (Meet the unconscious patterns that hold you back—with courage and compassion).
 

Week 5 — May 28 - The Alchemy of Anger: Wood's shadow emotion transformed

Transform emotional intensity into clarity, boundaries, and purposeful action all while remaining compassionate & open to forgiveness of self and others. 

Week 6 — June 4 (Pre-Recorded) - Yoga & Astrology Integration:

The Energetics of June - Navigate shifting energies with awareness, grounding, and trust. Create intentions & affirmations for the New Moon in Gemini.
 

Week 7 — June 11 - Compassion & Forgiveness - The Key To It All

We will look at compassion and forgiveness for both for the self as well as “the other” and explore the idea of fierce compassion - a love so strong it is willing to stand up for what’s right. Discover the freedom that comes when we let go of the knife. 
 

Week 8 — June 18 - Embodying the Spiritual Warrior and the Principle of Bamboo

 Step forward with clarity, courage, and alignment—ready to act from truth with flexibility, resilience, and equanimity even under pressure. The courage to show up both strong and soft.  Seeing Integration, balance & wholeness as a sacred act.
